A Study on Investment Behaviour of College Teachers in Bengaluru

Abstract

India Investment Report 2021 demonstrates the status of India s investment position at macro and micro level. To understand the micro level components of an individual s investment behaviour, it is obligatory to have a comprehensive knowledge on India s macro investment position. The individual behaviour of investment is diverse and it is influenced by the economic GDP along with FDI inflow status. India is presently known as one of the most important players in the global economic landscape. According to provisional estimates published by the National Statistical Office (NSO), India witnessed a V-shaped recovery in the second half of FY21. India currently stands at 20th position in FDI outflow among the top 20 world economies registering a progressive path. In the year 2019 - 2020 the outflow reduced by 1 billion USD, which saw a gradual decrease in FDI outflow and this was due to the increase in the concentration of domestic industrial development. newline
