Abstract: | newline The symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) might newlinerange from limb pain and heaviness to non -healing sores over the newlinelower limbs. Venous hypertension involving the superficial, deep, newlineor perforator veins, whether brought on by valvular reflux, newlineblockage, or both, is responsible for the development of chronic newlinevenous insufficiency disease. newlineBecause aggressive conservative therapy, such as compression newlinetherapy, lifestyle changes, and venotonic medicines, are all newlineexpensive treatments with a higher risk of recurrent symptoms in newlinepatients with chronic venous insufficiency, these patients often newlinerequire some type of such intervention. newlineAbout 60% of individuals who have primary valvular newlineincompetence that causes cutaneous venous hypertension experience newlinea range of cutaneous symptoms, the most severe of which present as newlineulcers over the medial malleolus. newlineThrough perforators, the deep ven ous system connects with newlinethe superficial system in an inward flow. One of the main causes of newlinechronic venous insufficiency in the lower limbs is perforator newlineincompetence. Numerous studies have shown that when compared to newlinepatients with uncomplicated varicose vein-related disease, people newlineI N T R O D U C T I O N newline2 newlinewith long-term venous insufficiency, venous or varicose ulcers, newlinehave a higher number of incompetent perforators. |
