Abstract: In the present research, we documented fused heterocyclic entities based on literature survey by observing recent scenario in the medicinal and dye research fields. The current work primarily focused on two different heterocyclic motifs. The synthesis of quinoline-pyrimidine fused azo dye derivatives was achieved by biginelli synthesis followed by diazotization at the last step and these compounds were evaluated for antimicrobial screening, molecular docking and ADMET studies. Compounds were also evaluated for their dye-ability. The next goal was to develop one-pot three-component green protocol derived by ultrasonic and microwave irradiation methods using water solvent. All synthesized molecules were characterized by various spectroscopic techniques such as 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR and LCMS spectroscopy techniques. Further, synthesized derivatives were screened for antimicrobial activity. Several compounds were also screened for their anticancer activity along with molecular docking and ADMET studies.
