Abstract: | In the mobile communication, the spatial filtering method used to improve the capacity of newlinethe channel that can be achieved by an adaptive antenna at the base station. newlineThe use of smart antenna technology in mobile communications is arousing great newlineconcern. The smart antenna can effectively improve the signal-to-noise ratio and system newlineperformance and capacity. Smart antennas have received increasing interest for improving the newlineperformance of wireless radio systems. These systems of antennas include a large number of newlinetechniques that attempt to enhance the received signal, suppress all interfering signals, and newlineincrease capacity, in general. It introduces the basic concepts and historical sources of smart newlineantennas. At the same time, the function of smart antenna in optimizing system is discussed in newlinedetail. newlineThe traditional LMS algorithm requires a lot of calculation, so we need to develop newlinemethods to reduce the complexity of the beamforming algorithm without significantly affecting newlinethe performance. In this work, the well-known LMS algorithm was modified to make it suitable newlinefor high-level digital communication systems speed. Reduce the complexity of updating the newlineweight vector. The LMS algorithm has been improved to receive SELMS, SDLMS and SSLMS newlinealgorithms. These are the new beamforming algorithms previously used for adaptive filtering, newlinenamely symbol beamforming algorithms. The beamforming algorithms, namely LMS, LLMS, newlineSDLMS, SSLMS, SELMS, are executed based on the main beamforming and the number of newlinemultiplications and additions. newlineThe main purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the current state of research newlinein the area of smart antennas, and to describe how they can be used in wireless systems. Since newlinethe smart antenna algorithm is the core of this technology, the paper also describes various newlinealgorithms in digital beam forming. Thus, this article provides a basic model for determining the newlineangle of arrival for incoming signals, the appropriate antenna beamforming, and the adaptive newlinealgorithms that are currently u |
