Anuradha Roy is a contemporary Indian writer. The novels that have been taken for the newlinepresent study include An Atlas of Impossible Longing (2008), The Folded Earth (2011), Sleeping on newlineJupiter (2015) and All the Lives We Never Lived (2018). The researcher has worked upon some newlinesignificant psychological themes like loneliness, unfulfilled desires, excruciating memories and sexual newlineaabuse that has been found to be relevant to the contemporary society. The present research is a newlinecomprehensive psychological study of Roy s novels. It is a fresh attempt, as this kind of detailed newlinestudy on Roy s novels has not been done till now. newlineThe endeavor is to inspect the psychological states of the characters to understand human newlinepsychology with the help of the characters in the novels.
