Abstract: | Global warming, pollution and other effects of industrialization faced with rapid depletion of newlinenatural resources, rise in energy crisis, etc. are the serious problems faced in modern society. newlinePlanning and maintenance of environmental tending towards renewable energy and promotion newlineof sustainable development of these systems is the need of the hour. In the modern scenario newlinedare need of promoting and introducing renewable energy, environmental balance, managing newlineand recycling of energy and resources are required. newlineAt the moment, the challenge lies in the fulfillment of our core requirements without harming newlinethe environment which is considered the highest priority for any study or research. Cooling newlineplays a major part in human existence and has supported human race, primarily for the newlineconservation of crops, medicines, storage of industrial cooling chemicals, and for air newlineconditioning. The general refrigeration systems in use are vapour absorption and vapour newlinecompression. Owing to the advantages of vapour compression refrigeration and its closed cycle newlinegained prominence in recent times. Vapour compression refrigeration systems uses several newlineharmful gases, liquids such as R-22, R-32, R-728, R-744, R-134a, R-161 Methane, Ethane newlineseries, Propane series, ISO-Butane (R-600A), and Freon R-12, etc. The refrigerant when leaked newlineinto the atmosphere causes environmental pollution and also depletes the Ozone layer, covering newlinethe atmosphere and protecting the human race from solar radiation. newlineTo prevent this environmental effect, choosing non-conventional coolers such as Vortex Tube newline(VTand#8242;), which needs less maintenance, is judicious. They are noise-free cooling and meet the newlinecooling requirements of industries without moving components, and are an excellent option for newlinesystems that need the simultaneous cooling and heating of several sub systems. Significant newlineresearch being carried out to alleviate the problem on environment. Non-conventional coolers newlinesuch as VTand#8242; gained importance and is economical in maintenance. VTand#8242; is a versatile device that newlinegive |
