Abstract: Polycystic ovary syndrome PCOS is the most common endocrine disorder seen in women of reproductive age and affecting 8 to 13 Percent of them. In PCOS autonomic dysfunction in the form of decreased heart rate variability HRV with increased sympathetic activity and decreased parasympathetic activity has been reported Also altered level of brain derived neurotrophic factor BDNF a member of neurotrophin family were observed in plasma and follicular fluid in women with PCOS newline
