Abstract: This study was conducted in three phases Phase 1 included a thorough review of literature semi structured in depth interviews of participants with tetraplegia interview of caregivers of spinal cord injury individuals and health care workers dealing with spinal cord injury to understand the hand functions of individual with C5 C7 spinal cord injury Phase 2 consisted the development of the tool The Content Validity Ratio CVR method and opinion of the jurors validated the content of upper extremity functional skill measure UEFSM Phase 3 included the estimation of reliability of the tool which was done on a group of 60 individuals with C5 C7 spinal cord injury newline
