Abstract: Automobiles are now essential to the modern world. Various mechanical newlinelinks in an automobile transfer motion from the engine to the rear wheels. newlineHowever, the differential gearbox is critical in transferring motion from newlinethe engine to the back axle. The noise is created by transmission error newlineexcitation induced by tooth profile defects, misalignment and tooth newlinedeflections, which causes vibration of the gear pair system. This work aims newlineto further research the effect of tooth profile modifications on the newlinetransmission error of gear pairs. These parameters are the basis of the newlineproblem of transmission error and the contact pattern of spiral bevel gear newlinein the present study. Some of the researchers have worked on finite element newlineanalysis, analytical solutions, simulation and modeling. Others have done newlinethe experimental investigation and compared their results with the newlinetheoretical standard results. Transmission faults are a major cause of newlinegearbox noise. The transmission error has been minimized as a result of a newlinefinal gear manufacturing setting that has been proposed and analyzed. In newlinethis study, we attempt to address several numerical analytical methods of newlinetooth contact analysis of a spiral bevel gear, as well as a review of the newlineFEM methodology and experimental prediction of contact patterns in gear newlineteeth. In gear, working transmission error is investigated in both static and newlinedynamic conditions. newlineIn this research, a solid model of a spiral bevel gear and pinion was newlinegenerated and simulated at different loads using KISSsoft software. An newlineexperimental test is done at different loads. Transmission error and contact newlinepatterns are obtained. At no load condition, the effect of changing the newlinepinion offset distance from toe to heel on the value of transmission error. newlineA comparison of peak-to-peak transmission error between simulation newline(KISSsoft) and Gleason T2000 has been done. The simulation (KISSsoft) newlineresult is more accurate. At a torque value equal to 250 Nm, the load is newlineshared between 2 and 3, and almost uniform
