Abstract: Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) contain self-configured, newlinedistributed and autonomous Sensor Nodes (SNs) that monitor physical or newlineenvironmental activities. The applications include those in military monitoring, newlinetraffic control networks, underwater detection, industrial and manufacturing newlineautomation, the agricultural field and other monitoring areas. However, the newlinedesign of routing protocol is affected by many factors such as energy newlineconsumption, nodes deployment approach, real-time monitoring and security. newlineTo alleviate the energy consumption issue of 3D WSN, urgently need to design newlinean energy optimization protocol to minimize total network energy consumption newlineand prolong the network lifetime in 3D WSN. An improved dynamic newlinehierarchical clustering has been used in existing works that compute optimum newlineclusters count and thus, the total consumption of energy is optimal. However, newlinethe computational complexity will be increased due to data dimension, and this newlineleads to an increase in delay in network data transmission and reception. So, newlinethe main aim of the proposed model is to minimize energy consumption and newlineincreasing data transmission with the improved network life time of 3D newlineDynamic Hierarchical clustering Routing protocol in WSN. This work has three newlinemodules which is followed as, newlineThe first research work introduced the energy efficient Improved newlineDynamic Hierarchical Clustering (IDHC) routing protocol with a balanced newlineenergy consumption and efficient energy framework. For 3D-WSN, the newlinereference energy consumption model and 3D spherical network structure are newlineproposed. Based on 3D spherical network structure, optimum clusters count is newlinecomputed using a newly proposed technique. newline
