dc.description.abstractThe contemporary world is classified into several sections on the basis of regional political newlinealignments. In this condition, a political grouping is a necessity for every regional entity. This newlinework is an attempt to bring out a Vedic model of political union in the Indian subcontinent using newlinethe framework of Arthaand#347;and#257;stra. newlineThe work is majorly divided into four levels. Primarily, the work investigates newlinecontemporary need(s) for a union in the Indian subcontinent and decides its objectives on three newlinelevels from Territorial Security to Political Sustainability to Psychological Integrity of the Indian newlinesubcontinent. Secondly, this study analyses and shows the political, psychological and territorial newlinepossibilities for a political union at the subcontinent level. Thirdly, Common barriers in the newlineformation, and internal-external dangers in the functioning of the union were examined. Fourthl7y, newlinein the application of union strategies based on contemporary situations, this study proposes the newlinediplomacies or upand#257;ya-s of sand#257;ma-dand#257;na-bheda-daand#7751;and#7693;a for the establishment of the elements of the newlineunion and consolidation of the Indian subcontinent within the proposed Vedic model.
