Abstract: newline Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is an unconventional newlinemanufacturing process used for machining complex shapes in all the newlineconducting materials irrespective of the hardness. It is widely applied in newlineaerospace industries, tool and die making industries and electronics industries. newlineMaterial Removal Rate, Tool Wear Rate and Overcut are the important newlineperformance measures in the EDM process. The higher reactive force newlinegenerated in the EDM process not only removes more material from the work newlinepiece, but also causes severe damage to the tool the required shape cannot be newlinereproduced on the work piece. If the tool wear is more, the usage of the newlinedielectric liquid requires a complex system for maintenance in EDM process newline
