Abstract: | In recent years, there is a paradigm shift on the development of various wireless technologies. Wide variety of wireless networks has emerged, which lead to heterogeneous network environment. Wireless user population is growing sharply, due to the increase in multimedia services like streaming media, audio and video in live and other social networking services, expecting seamless communication anytime, anywhere with the upgraded multimode user terminals. The smart phones can do a variety of useful jobs. In addition to make calls, they can be used to create and share multimedia files, run very useful applications and do data processing. In the existing research, those devices suffer from some limitations including limited storage and processing capacity and short battery life time due to energy drain which is noticed to be increased when running applications that require intensive computations on the mobile devices. Most current industrial mobile devices are operated by a limited built-in battery. Thus, energy efficiency is a very important issue and an elementary requirement for battery-operated industrial mobile devices. During thus energy saving efficiency some of the issues are also present such signal fading which loss signal or information. Efficient path to send data from one device to another device becomes difficult. To solve all of these problems an efficient network interface management scheme is required to enhance energy efficiency in industrial environments. Therefore, to overcome these issues, in the proposed system, efficient and effective network interface-selection algorithms and energy aware routing methods are proposed for energy efficiency significantly. newline |
