Abstract: Abstract newline newlineDepression is the 2nd largest disease in the world. The common source of depression is stress in life in different formats and chronic diseases. newlineTribulus Terrestris is of the Zygophyllaceous family with 20 species. Extensively explored in most organs due to its medicinal properties. But very limited work was done on depression. So, plan was made to explore the antidepressant and anxiolytic properties of ethanolic extract of fruits of TT by inducing depression through PCPA (100mg/k.b.w) in male wistar rats. The effect of extract studied on oxidative stress, antioxidants, neurotransmitters, cytokines, and gene expression. newline newline
