Weld-bead-geometry can necessarily be a standard parameter or there may be a direct newlinecorrelation between geometry and secondary design concepts. Application parameters may newlinebe modified to establish the required geometry. Some progress has recently been made in the newlinedevelopment of appropriate mathematical models, but their application to process control is newlinestill under investigation. newlineChosen welding material for this work is ASTM A36 steel. ASTM A36 steel is one of the newlinemost commonly used carbon-steels, since ASTM A36 products have overall carbon content newlineof 0.29 percent, it is called a mild steel. A36 mild steel is normally hot-wrought relative to newlineAISI 1018, and 1018 is typically cold-wrought. Structural steel ASTM A36 is well suited for newlinewelding and is usually constructed of hot-rolled in rectangular steel, sq. steel, circular steel, newlineand stainless steel, as well as all types of steel parts like H- beam, I- Beam, U- channel, newlinesteel- angle, steel- tube etc. newline
