dc.description.abstractnewline AA6061 is a well-studied alloy used in the transportation industries due to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, high specific strength. However, high wear and friction have a significant effect on system performance when it comes to operational circumstances. In order to the addition of hard ceramic particles to the matrix improved the performance in terms of strength, wear, and friction behaviour. Furthermore, it reduces the propensity of the matrix to adhere to the counter surface material. The wear properties are enhanced mainly to strengthening the matrix with the addition of more than one potential particle and preserving the unique characteristics of those potential particles while offering superior properties
