dc.description.abstractIn recent times, protecting the information by transforming it to a secured format ensures its privacy and security. The rapid rise in the growth of cyber related crimes and attacks, the potential increase in the use of digital currencies, and high digital computing power are the significant reasons behind the use of blockchain technology. It is based on Distributed Ledger Technology which uses the concepts of cryptography and decentralization as its key paradigms. It is responsible for securing a transaction which is tamper proof, transparent and accountable. Every page in ledger forms a block having set of transactions. Every block in the chain is related to the next and previous block through a key called hash-code. When one block is generated it creates a hash-code which is unique across the chain, which is then used to construct the next block. By this way tampering of one block makes the remaining set of blocks in the chain inaccessible. Blockchain technology is gaining momentum owing to its resilient attributes such as transparency, reliability, de-centralization and security. This research investigate certain performance evaluation of various signature schemes and propose techniques for privately secure parking system using blockchain technology. newline
