Abstract: | Abstract newlineEducation is vital in achieving particular ends and goals. Learning various subjects newlinein schools by different means is mainly to achieve the pre-determined goals. newlineMathematics always has a key place in school curriculum because it is considered newlineknowledge indispensable throughout the globe. A segmental teaching is necessary newlinein the present education system which encourages the learners to participate in the newlineprocess that helps to earn knowledge in acquiring education. Teaching learning newlineprocess shall have an aesthetic component in it, without which the learning newlinestumbles and lags behind. Present educational system needs innovative and modern newlinestrategies for teaching and learning. There is a need to change the strategies of newlineteaching Mathematics education to the students in elementary schools. One of the newlinemodern strategies is teaching mathematical concepts through integrating different newlineart forms. The primary aim of integrating arts into the mathematics classroom is to newlinemake the learner relate the mathematical concepts with their daily routine, to ensure newlineretention and success of learners not only during school years but also throughout newlinelife. Students at school learn the best when teaching-learning strategies are applied newlinebased on the interest of the learners. By integrating different art forms in teaching newlinemathematical concepts envisages the learner to experience joyful learning as well newlineas remove fear of the subject. Mixed method approach was adopted in the study newlinewhich includes Quasi experimental single group pre-test post-test design under newlinequantitative method followed by qualitative method. The objectives are to know newlinethe attitude of students towards mathematics, to understand the conceptualization newline16 newlineof students in mathematics, to develop art-integrated learning module for newlinemathematics teachers at an elementary level, to study the difference in the attitude newlinetowards mathematics through arts integration, to study the effectiveness of newlinemathematical conceptualization, to find the relationship between mathematical newlineconcept |
