Abstract: Electricity is considered for analyzing the human body movement, newlinewhich is generated from natural sources, and so, biomedical instruments are newlinetaken as the alternative solution for analyzing the human body movement. In newlinerecent days, energy sources increase the need for an electricity grid which has newlinecreated novel issues regarding the efficiency of voltage stabilization, effective newlineenergy usage, and power quality, especially for biomedical applications. newlineBiomedical instruments are often used in the medical field, which enables the newlinemajor functions of wireless biomedical devices. However, these systems are newlinedeveloped with certain limitations owing to the unavailability of a reliable link newlinebetween biomedical and external devices; power distribution limitations, and newlinerestricted miniaturization. While designing the smart grid in biomedical newlineinstruments, the power quality is the major challenge and thus, APFs come into newlinethe portrait as they offer quick filtering of power quality. Therefore, the power newlinequality enhancement in biomedical applications with the UPQC is introduced in newlinethis research work. It is carried out in three phases. Initially, the EWOA newlinetechnique is implemented for recommending a PI control unit for UPQC with the newlineconversion of DC source via a three-stage inverter. EWOA with UPQC is newlineimplemented for eliminating the defects in the current and voltage harmonics. newlineNext, the performance analysis on EWOA with UPQC along with the newlinePI controller is done in terms of different parameters like THD levels, voltage, newlineand load current. This model focuses on saving energy with PWM in a grid for newlineeffective power transfer from various input sources. It is further employed for newlineenhancing the quality and power of PV systems. In the second phase, power newlinequality enhancement is carried out by AU-SSA with a UPQC along with a newlinePI controller on UPQC newline
