Abstract: | The legacy method of storing and retrieving medical or health records newlinemanually is becoming a challenging task. The problem with these legacy newlinemethods of storing the data manually is that it is hard to find the patient newlinerecord data from the local storage, where an enormous volume of records is newlinebeing kept. It requires a lot of time and energy to track a particular patient s newlinerecord. There is also a chance of losing or eradicating the data. Electronic newlineMedical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) are stored and newlineretrieved securely in the cloud with the utilization of Fog computing. The newlinemicrosensors are regularly used to monitor the patient s health conditions. newlineThese devices are generally designed as a wearable device, which is simple newlineand not difficult to monitor health condition. Security is much more critical newlinebecause it concerns the sensitive health data of the patient. Privacy protection, newlinelack of security standards, lack of transparency, data protection, and legal and newlinepolicy challenges are some security concerns in the healthcare cloud. The newlineattackers can exploit the vulnerabilities of the open wireless channels to newlineperform attacks. These attacks can cause various damages to the E-healthcare newlineframeworks. newlineTo address the above issues, the information and knowledge obtained newlinefrom the literature review are analysed and architecture for secure storage and newlineretrieval of data in cloud-fog computing in an IoT environment for healthcare newlineis introduced in this thesis. The proposed architecture for secure data storage newlineand retrieval in the cloud-fog environment for healthcare comprises three newlineframeworks. newline |
