dc.description.abstract | This research aims at exploring the various parts of extra-terrestrial mathematics in Jain newlineLiterature. In modern mathematics, scientists have defined many values to measure and newlineweigh, which in Jain literature has done two parts. The first part deals with newlinemeasurement of finite objects and extra-terrestrial (alokik) mathematics has been told newlinein second part. Measurement pertains to four parts: Matter, Space, time, thoughts. Each newlinepart has different subparts and have their own defined units. The smallest value of newlinematter is one (ek) parmanu and the largest value is the collection of all substances, and newlinethe smallest value of the area is a space point and the largest value is the whole sky, the newlinesmallest value in the time value is a samay and the largest value is the group of three newlinetimes of past, present and future. The smallest value in the thoughts is the sukshma newlinenigodiya labdhiaparyaptak s labdhi akshargyan (knowledge of tiniest life in the newlineuniverse), and the largest value is kevalayagyan (omniscience). In this thesis, each parts newlinehas been described in detailed, by taking the smallest value to the largest value. There newlineare many questions arise in our mind regarding health, lives, wealth and existence, and newlinestill no perfect solution found out yet. In this thesis, attempts are made to cover some newlineareas that resolve the questions arising on existence, universe and the cycle of time. newline | |
