Abstract: The academic research of thermodynamic parameters of the ecologically responsible refrigerant dimethyl ether is the subject of this work (RE170). HCFCs and HFCs will be phased out and down, accordingly, under the Montreal and Kyoto Protocols. RE170 is a coolant with no potential of ozone depletion and a very minimal potential of global warming below 2. As a result, RE170 is being regarded as a feasible replacement for potential of global warming refrigerants such as hydro fluorocarbons. RE170 can be coupled with other environmentally sustainable refrigerants. The major goal of this research is to use the Martin Hou equation to calculate the thermodynamic characteristics of RE170. Thermodynamic study of a vapour compression cycle can benefit from these qualities. newline
