dc.description.abstractSolar energy is one of the promising alternative sources for the conventional fuel and may be utilized for both domestic and industrial purpose. Solar energy not only used for producing generating electricity, it also used for generating thermal energy. The device which is used to generate thermal energy by utilizing solar radiations are termed as solar thermal collectors. Solar thermal collectors are used for various of industrial applications. Stationary type collectors are Flat Plate Solar Collectors and Evacuated Tube Solar Collectors have the temperature range of 20-80 ºC and 50-200 ºC respectively. Numerous studies have shown that ETSCs using lot of heat transfer newlineenhancement techniques such as coaxial tube, metal heat exchanger, built in wire coil, inserted baffles, fins and coils and embedded with twisted tape etc. newline newline
