Abstract: Electrocatalysis is a heterogeneous catalysis of electrochemical reactions occurring at the newlineelectrode electrolyte interface, where the electrode majorly plays the role of a catalyst by newlinealtering the electron donor/acceptor capability. On account of this, modifying the electrode newlinesurface enhances the electron transfer ability that promotes a number of applications such as newlineelectrosynthesis, sensors, fuel cells, Li-ion batteries, and so forth. newline
