Abstract: Organic synthesis is a fine art and precise science of constructing the molecules which newlinefind their applications ranging from pharmaceuticals to cosmetics and dyes. newlineFurthermore, the organic compounds with delocalized systems are being explored for newlinetheir non-linear optical responses as the substances with non-linear optical properties newlinefind their applications in optical devices which include optical switching and optical newlinelimiting. In this research work, we have designed and synthesized various classes of newlineorganic compounds namely spirobibenzopyrans, benzopyrylium salts, chalcones, and newlinemyo-inositol derivatives and explored their applications as potent biological agents and newlinepromising non-linear optically active compounds. newline
