Creatinine and 3 Aminopyridine Derivative Single Crystals Growth Aspects and Characterization for Third Order Nonlinear Optical Applications

Abstract

The research and innovations of physicochemical and nonlinear optical properties of organic single crystals are extremely interesting for optoelectronics, frequency doubling and tripling conversion, optical switching, optical limiting, optical communication, electro-optical, photonic, etc. Usually, nonlinear optical (NLO) properties depend upon numerous physical features such as optical transmittance, thermal stability and a higher laser damage threshold. Among them, it is crucial to grow the novel NLO single crystals that show enhanced thermal, dielectric and optical properties. Organic single crystals with stable thermal and mechanical properties mainly depend on the hydrogen bonds related with it. newlineIn this thesis, we have explored the new complex of organic single crystals and enhanced third-order NLO properties.
