Abstract: Language is a body of words or symbol used for communication and conversation. By using this trait human can easily understand our feelings and emotions. A system of conventional spoken, manual, or written symbols by means of which human beings, as members of a social group and participants in its culture, express themselves is his called language . The functions of language include communication, the expression of identity, play, imaginative expression, and emotional release. There are many countries, cultures and religions in this world and they all have their own language i.e. there is no similarity in languages. So there is a need of one international or common language. We can fulfill our standard language requirement by English because English is the most speaking language in most of the countries.
