Abstract: Optical burst switching (OBS) is a promising technology that could meet the fast- growing network demand. Based on the survey of recent scientific OBS articles, it has been observed that suitable algorithms have to be developed. This thesis aims to provide a solution for handling the high-level traffic and improving the performance in the optical burst switched network. It also deals with the issues, increases path diversity and reduces deflection in OBS networks. Two types of methods are proposed as part of this study, both of which are suitable for load balance applications. Firstly, the load balancing issues in OBS networks are handled by implementing a dynamic load balancing multipath with time-based path selections (DLBM). This DLBM path selection approach is used with numerous alternate paths for a node pair. From the input node to the egress node, these various pathways are allocated. Different traffic kinds are considered while comparing TFBA with DLBM, and data are gathered for study. It has demonstrated that the resulting transmission can be as good as possible using the shortest path from user to user, comparable to the DLBM algorithm. The outcome also shows that the suggested DLBM is better at managing high-level traffic and offers enough bandwidth for all paths. In addition to the previous work, Dynamic Load Balancing Multipath-Path Distance Analyzer (DLBM-PDA) is proposed for buffer less NoCs to achieve large energy savings while improving performance by reducing router complexity and controlling deflection, which is accomplished by providing a connection to each router for bridge sub-networks. The proposed DLBM-PDA operates in two stages at both the ingress and egress nodes in the OBS network. The four functional components of the entrance node measure, assign, distribute, and compose traffic bursts. To boost path diversity and decrease deflection, the PDA links the various partitions, which speeds up performance transmission and reduces energy consumption. Deflection Containment (DeC) is utilized
