dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, due to the increased amount of network users and resources, some emerging technologies like big data and cloud have been developed. But, managing these types of networks is more complex, in order to solve this issue, a Software Defined Networks (SDN) is developed for managing the network in a comfortable manner. One of the main advantages of using SDN is a centralized programmatic control for managing the network and data. Still, the resource management is a long-standing and open problem to be focused and solved in SDN. This research work is motivated to improve the Quality of Service (QoS) in SDN by solving the open issues and managing the resources in the network. This objective is accomplished in two modules of this work, in which the Conjunction of SDN with Open Flow Model (CSNOF) model is developed at the initial phase for properly managing the network services with improved QoS based on the optimal selection of parameters. Here, a combination of multi-criteria approach and multi-commodity flow constraint based shortest path detection techniques have been utilized for avoiding the network packet loss and congestion. In this model, the network topology mapper is used to retrieve the information related to the real network topology. Then, the static path inserter and path finder modules are used to map the information for configuring the offline path. During path configuration, the flow of paths can be added into the switches with the help of floodlight REST API, then the path can be configured based on the external decisions. newline newline newline | |
