A group of spatially distributed sensors that monitors the physical and newlineenvironmental conditions forms a network that can able to communicate newlinebetween them wirelessly called Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). WSN can newlinebe either static or dynamic. The densely deployed sensor nodes are newlineapplication specific and it is implemented forever. Health care, military, home newlineautomation and habitat monitoring are some of the applications of WSN. newlineThese remotely deployed sensor nodes are typically operated by batteries newlinehence the lifetime of the WSN depends on the lifetime of the individual nodes newlinein the network. A strong routing protocol is required to communicate among newlinenodes. The AODV, AOMDV and DSR are the most commonly used routing newlineprotocols in WSN. newlineSecure communication with efficient energy utilization is the prime newlineissue to be addressed in WSNs. Network Lifetime (NL) maximization is newlinerequired to utilize the available energy to maintain a fully operational newlinenetwork. The existing security schemes compromise energy consumption due newlineto their design and computational complexity to achieve reliable data newlinetransmission. newline
