Abstract: | The progress in technology has accelerated the prevailing status of industrialization to a great extent. Everyone searches for unconstrained and continuous methods of mechanism, which are of higher quality and highly accessible. In the time of globalization it is necessary for industries to be automated. So various techniques requiring less energy consumption have been adapted. Industrialization has forced humans to believe that machine vision systems, which are very expensive, are one of the method to handle complicated works. newlineCurrently, production industries have been operating under a combative environment. Automation plays a major part in determining the performance of the production industry. newlineA feeder is a system in which parts are oriented to get a desired pose irrespective of the orientation of the part entering it. These part feeding systems are implemented with a sequence of gates that push, rotate, and even drop parts until they reach the desired orientations. newlineThere are different techniques for feeding a part to a system that is mainly focused on the orientation of the part for any industrial application. Experts such as Robert Paul Berrety (2001) proposed a vibrator bowl feeder, which is the oldest approach, but for asymmetric parts it may not be applicable. newline |
