Abstract: Over the last two decades, the actualization of an entrepreneurial approach newlinetowards sustainable social value creation has garnered the interest of both practitioners newlineand policymakers. Social Entrepreneurship has emerged as an exciting field on account newlineof its tremendous potential in addressing various ecological and societal concerns with newlineuniversal implications like poverty alleviation, employment creation, waste newlinemanagement, promotion of renewable energy and equitable access to various basic newlinenecessities. Following the Grameen experiment in Bangladesh, it has emerged as an newlinealternative to the dominant profit maximization narrative of the private sector and has newlinebeen termed as the nascent face of futuristic Transformational Capitalism . Due to its newlineemergent nature Social Entrepreneurship has for long grappled with definitional newlinechallenges. newline
