Abstract: Academic researchers have emphasized the need for businesses to be aware of ecological newlineand social impacts of their activities while in pursuit of profitability. Agreeing with the newlineacademicians, industry practitioners are promoting the focus on the 3Ps - people, planet newlineand profit in their business operations. In this regard, organisations are transitioning from newlinetraditional supply chain practices to green supply chain practices. For effective newlineimplementation and functioning of green supply chain practices, cooperation among newlinedifferent knowledge producers and organisational experts is required. newline
