Abstract: | Ergonomic workstations have a direct impact on the safety and comfort of computer users. Because most workplaces were designed for paper-based work before being converted to computer workstations, injuries, fatigue, and other annoyances are more frequent. For long periods, a workstation is essential for sitting at a desk and performing daily duties on a computer. However, they are also subjected to physical and mental strain due to working for lengthy periods. Injuries, fatigue, and pain are more likely to occur in most settings designed for paper-based work but increasingly enable computer workstations without corresponding changes. newline |
