dc.description.abstractThe increased use of service orient environment introduced several challenges in performing data transmission effectively. As wireless mesh networks has been adapted with various other networks and the topology constraints introduces higher difficulty in performing cooperative transmission. Also, the service provided by any service point has been accessed from the various nodes of network independent of their location. They perform cooperative transmission through different mesh clients, mesh routers and other components of the network. The recent network components like Internet of Things (loT) are mostly identified in the network area which can be used as supporting devices to perform effective data transmission. However, the devices are not part of the network and cannot be trusted to get involved in data transmission. On the other side, by integrating or including such devices, the performance of data transmission can be improved. So, it is necessary to consider the security issues in including such IoT devices. In this way, secure data transmission has been approached in several ways by computing the trust value of various routes according to different features like traffic in the hops of route, the number of transmission made by different hops and route, number of retransmission of different hops of route and soon. Still, the existing approaches suffer to achieve expected performance and expects more strategic techniques newline
