Abstract: newline Pipelines have become the most efficient way to transport products such newlineas fluids, gases and oils. However, maintaining their integrity requires regular newlineinspections using Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, which are currently newlinecarried out by human personnel. NDT inspections involve crawling inside and newlineclimbing high-altitude pipelines, which can be dangerous and potentially newlineharmful, especially when transporting toxic chemicals. Thus, the process should newlinebe automated to mitigate the risk caused to humans in pipeline inspection. newlineHence, the major aim of this research is to automate the inspection process using newlinerobotics technology
