Abstract: | newline Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a specific group of autonomous mobile newlinedevices with limited energy and computational resources. Due to the inherent newlinecharacteristics of MANET, the nodes cause frequent route failure problems. newlineBecause of this issue, the packets transmitted between the source and newlinedestination will be discarded. Hence, it is failed when handling high newlinecomputational tasks. On the other hand, this MANET comprises no central newlinecommunication infrastructure to control communication; As a result, attackers newlineare able to carry out various malicious attacks all over the network. These newlineattacks significantly affect the Quality of Service. However, MANETs still face newlinemany challenging problems, which may significantly affect their performance newlineand application in practical situations. Thus, it is paramount to establish an newlineenergy-efficient routing to enhance the network s lifetime and secure routing in newlineMANET. Thus, proper management and security provisioning of the node is a newlinevital task and challenge in MANET. newlineAn adaptive routing strategy is adopted in this proposal with the aid of a novel newlineoptimization algorithm, Self-Improved Particle Swarm Optimization, which is newlinea conceptual improvement of standard Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for newlinemore energy-efficient route selection. This SI-PSO algorithm is more promising newlinethan traditional optimization algorithms in increasing MANET lifetime. |
