Abstract: | Elucidating sexual harassment is a multiplex job owing to the fact that there are newlinedifferences in opinions, ideas, knowledge and the social environments of individuals newlineand groups. An individual s interpretation of sexual harassment is framed by various newlinekinds of societal factors like religion, education and past experiences with sexual newlineharassment. It is also very awkward to investigate the malleability of how an newlineindividual expresses sexual harassment acts. Specific genres of sexual harassment, newlinesuch as sexual harassment at workplace, rape at workplace, personal questions of newlinesexual nature, vulgarities and other offensive language, any unwelcome sexual newlineadvance can be major elements in public definition of sexual harassment. The prime newlinething to be noted down is that in sexual harassment victim and perpetrator can be of newlineany gender and the place of harassment can be any school, office, home, university, newlinecoaching centers or any other. Also, with the advent of the Internet, sexual harassment newlinehas increased by occurring online. newlineDomestic violence is always assumed in relation to women. Man is always considered newlineas the offender. However, because of the socio-economic changes affecting the family newlinestructure in present times, domestic violence these days is not limited to women only. newlineMen also are exploited verbally, physically, emotionally, psychologically, and newlinesexually. Men do not report these abusive behaviors they are facing and are silent newlinevictims of the consequences. As the laws in our society favor only women as victims newlineof violence, these unfortunate men do not get justice for their despicable condition in newlinethe family and society. This research attempts to explore the extent of this problem newlineand highlights its causes and effects. There is a need of hour for gender neutral laws newlinefor domestic violence in our country. Domestic violence should be considered as newlinespousal violence, and should not be gender biased. newlineIn this research the researcher examines the issue of men who are victimized by newlinedomestic violence in their relationship.
