Abstract: The present study is undertaken to evaluate the phytochemicalsand to isolate the bioactive newlinecompounds from Carica papaya and Murrayakoeinigii and test for their antibacterial and newlineantioxidant activity.The use of medicinal plants is seen to be quite safe, as there are no or newlinevery few adverse effects. The fact that these medicines are in sync with nature is the largest newlineadvantage. The golden truth is that herbal remedies can be used by people of all ages and newlinegenders.Several plant extracts and phytochemicals have been shown to provide therapeutic newlineadvantages that are superior than standard medicine. Murrayakoenigii (M koenigii) is a newlinemember of the Rutaceae family and is widely used as a medicinally.The current review newlineelucidates the key components of M.koenigiias well as their pharmacological activity against newlinevarious clinical situations as antihelminthics, analgesics, digestives, appetizers, body aches, newlinesnakebites, anti-oxidative, hepatoprotective, antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and newlinenephroprotective.review stated that Papaya (Carica papaya L.) has been used in traditional newlinemedicine to treat many disorders. Specific phytochemicals found in leaves, bark, roots, latex, newlinefruits, and seeds have bioactivity against a variety of illnesses. C. papaya has been shown to newlinehave antihelmintic, antiprotozoan, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, newlineantihypertensive, hypoglycaemic and hypolipidaemic, wound healing, antitumor, free-radical newlinescavenging, antisickling, neuroprotective, diuretic, abortifacient, and antifertility properties in newlinestudies. With chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, the natural compounds such as newlinecarpaine and Quercetin were isolated and identified from the leaf part of ethyl acetate extract newlineof carica papaya and Murrayakoenigii. Isolated compound of Murrayakoenigii and newlinecaricapapaya have good inhibitory activity against gram negative and gram positive bacteria newlineand also they have good antioxidant activity . newline
