Abstract: | Asparagus racemosus willd. And Clitoria ternatea L. are choosen.Petroleum Ether root extract, Ethyl Acetate root extract and Methanol root extract are prepared by cold maceration of both plants. After that, qualitative analysis was performed. And then quantitative analysis was performed. newlineThin layer chromatography was performed for the selection of mobile phase. Then Column chromatography was performed. Then characterization of isolated compound (37-45) of Methanol root extract of Asparagus racemosus Willd. was performed by a combination of spectroscopic techniques. After getting UV spectra, IR spectra, NMR spectra, and MASS spectra and structural interpretation, one compound, Asparagine, is found in an isolated compound (37-45) of Methanol root extract of Asparagus racemosus willd. newlineAsparagine is a nontoxic carrier of residual ammonia which is eliminated from the body. It can act as a diuretic. newlineCharacterization of isolated compound (43-51) of Clitoria ternatea L Methanol flower extract by a combination of spectroscopic techniques. After getting UV, IR, NMR, and MASS spectra, the structural interpretation was performed. After that, one compound Linoleic acid is found in the Methanol flower extract of Clitoria ternatea L. Linoleic acid is the most common Omega 6 essential fatty acid. It can be used as a antiageing cream. newline |
