Abstract: Feminism is an interdisciplinary approach of equality and equity based on gender, gender expression, gender identity, sex, and sexuality as understood through social theories and political activism. Feminist theory now aims to interrogate inequalities and inequities along the intersectional lines of ability, class, gender, race, sex, and sexuality, and feminists seek to effect change in areas where these inter sections create power inequity. newlineThe study brings to light how they vocalize their perception of change in women characters, in their novels through gender interaction. They focus on the identity of the individual, especially Indian woman. They highlight the advantages trans-effecting an identity to solve the conflicts arising out of gender interaction. This research work explores in detail the roots of man-woman inequality in India and the socio-cultural reasons for them. newline
