dc.description.abstract | This research work focuses on the concept and applications of Inclusive Business (IB), a newlinesocio-economic phenomenon that has gained considerable importance in areas of newlinebusiness and economic development. The term Inclusive Business was first coined by newlinethe World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in 2005. Over the newlineyears, the idea of IB has gained immense popularity, especially among donor agencies; newlineas of 2017, leading development institutions such United Nations and affiliated agencies, newlineAsian Development Bank, International Labor Organization, and World Bank have newlinepropagated the idea of IBs and its relevance in the current development discourse. Over newlinethe years, several definitions of IBs have evolved.
