Abstract: | Researchers and industries have focused on high entropy alloy systems since their inception due to their excellent properties. They are popular due to their ability to form a single solid solution phase with exceptional properties, including high strength, ductility, fatigue life, creep resistance, corrosion and wear resistance, etc. Among the HEAs systems, CoCrFeNi is the most studied. Other elements such as Al, Ti, Mn, Mo and V are added as a fifth element to improve the properties. In this work Cu is added to CoCrFeNi and its effect on microstructural evolution, wear, corrosion and weldability are studied. newline |
