Abstract: | This research is based on the title of A Legal Study of Competition Act 2018(as amended) with newlinespecial reference to compilation in Grocery Goods Trade . In this thesis researcher trying to find newlineout the impact of amendment of Competition Act 2018 on Grocery Goods Trade and also analysis newlinethe reason of replacement of MRTP ACT 1969 to Competition Law 2002 and we also study the newlinereason of amendment of Regulation in Competition Act in 2018 researcher also Study Evolution newlineof Competition Law in India. In this research researcher trying to discuss the impact of this Act on newlineanother issues like MRPT, Dumping, IPR, Judicial Pronouncement, Abuse of Dominant Position. newlineAfter the study various sectors researcher found Competition Laws based on laws of foreign of newlineCountry laws but Indian Ideology are different from foreign country ideologies of market. 2018 newlineAmendment in competition act are more effective in South Africa but in India its deals only rules newlineSouth African Amendment 2018 part 2 a section 15a deals with grocery goods and trade but Indian newlineamendment has no impact on Grocery goods and trade. It is still difficult to identify after newlineamendment in the Act. Amendment does not focus on determination of dominance, predatory newlinepricing and protection of investor that is majorly playing role in the market and influence the newlinemarket. There is no such specific provision for infringement of Predatory pricing and it is much newlineneeded to make provisions to control predatory pricing. Indian domestic market from unfair trade newlinepractices use by the exporters. India needs a strong anti-dumping duty or Laws which is not given newlinein completion Law and amendment has no provision regarding to this. newlineThis legal study provides a comprehensive analysis of the Competition Act 2018 (as amended) newlinewith a special focus on its implications for the grocery goods trade.
