dc.description.abstract | The present study involves experimental method to assess the effect of 4 MAT Model of Teaching on Achievement, Attitude towards Economics and Retention of learning Among Students with different learning Styles. The Present study was conducted on a sample of 160 students of grade 10 +1 Economics from English medium private schools of Amritsar district, affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. The students were in the age group of 16-18 years. The major findings of the present study are: The instructions imparted through 4MAT model of teaching resulted in significant difference in mean gain Achievement scores in Economics than those imparted through Conventional method. The instructions imparted through 4MAT model of teaching resulted in significant difference in mean gain scores on Attitude towards Economics than those imparted through Conventional method. There is significant difference in the Retention of learning Economics of the students with Reproducing and Constructive learning styles. newline | |
