Abstract: | In the post COVID-19 status, there has been a growing demand for newlinegood quality drinking water ,suitable groundwater for irrigation and industrial newlinepurpose, and technology based novel methodologies of treating the newlinegroundwater. As Madurai is one of the fast growing District in both irrigation newlineand industrial sector and emerged as a preferential place for textile industries newlinenext to Tirupur city which is well known for textile industries, and hence the newlineneed for the removal of toxins from Textile industry s effluent has become newlineinevitable. The proposed research work is a methodology of three stages that newlinecombine the evaluation of groundwater quality using Artificial Neural newlineNetwork, an adsorptive elimination model for treating effluents using perlite newlineas an adsorbent, and a novel method for removal of toxins of textile industry newlineusing nano-composites from wastewater of Madurai District sited at Tamil newlineNadu in India. In the first stage, the present research study proposes a nerve newlinefeedback network for water quality evaluation. The proposed ANN simulates newlinethe vital water quality parameters such as the estimated Electrical newlineConductivity(EC), pH value, Total Dissolved Solids(TDS), Total Hardness, newline(TH) and CL.The desirability to use the Groundwater for domestic, irrigation newlineand industrial purposes is evaluated based on the hydrological water quality newlineproperties for samplings collected in all the eleven taluks of the chosen newlineDistrict. The ANN analysis predicted that the water quality in the chosen newlineDistrict get deteriorated. The major factors that affected the hydro chemistry newlineof groundwater of the district are :solid waste disposal and agricultural newlineactivities. newline |
