dc.description.abstract | Remote sensing is a thriving technology in image processing due to satellite roving around the earth and offers substantial solution in various fields namely agriculture, weather, biodiversity, forestry, etc. The farmers have seed sowing, fertilizing, pesticides, and vegetation measurements for the completion of cultivation. Remote sensing plays a vital role in reducing the manpower requirement in agricultural farming system and help farmers to have precision agriculture in order to obtain better yield. newlineThe research work describes, the Mask RCNN method and biomass estimation method to extract features from the multispectral images to measure plant height, distance between plants, direction of plant growth, pesticide usage, fertilizer usage, irrigation with water stress, soil status, correlation between plant growth control, managing leaf strength, and the starting stage of plant diseases, under atmospherically changing conditions. The input multispectral image datasets from Sensefly web portal are used to evaluate the proposed methods.
