Abstract: | Modern tech world is powered by lithium-ion batteries, it opened up room for more compatible computing and communication devices. Though LIBs revolutionized our tech world still there is room for improvement in the wearable techs, IoTs, biomedical implants, electric vehicles, etc., Here in this thesis work, the first part deals with the thin film cathode materials fabrication and characterization. Thin films are deposited on various substrates various substrates such as Silicon wafer, coin cell stainless steel spacer and Pt coated glass employing RF sputtering and studies. Cathode materials NMC(111) and Li2MnO3 are chosen for the thin film energy storage application. The results obtained from the NMC(111) and high capacity Li2MnO3 cathode thin films can be helpful in fabricating cathode material for all solid state lithium ion battery. The next part deals with the Titanium Niobium Oxide based anode materials for the lithium-ion battery. The concluding part discusses the synthesis of Lithium Lanthanum Oxide solid state electrolyte and the fabrication of full cell with the commercial NMC(111) cathode material and Nb-TiO2 anode material newline |
