Abstract: | Nanotechnology is the study of particles of a size between 1 and 100 nm, each with specific characteristics that determine their application. Due to its accessibility, lack of hazardous waste production, and economic viability, green synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNps) has gained popularity among scientists and researchers in recent years. The efficiency and speed of production, green synthesis has brought to limelight in comparison to chemical synthesis of nanoparticles (Nps). The synthesis process and other factors, viz. temperature, time, pH, silver ion concentration, and radiations, all have an important impact on the form, size, and yield of the Nps that are created. We may use AgNps produced from optimized parameters in fields like microbiology, catalysis, biological labeling, photonics, optoelectronics, medical devices, and healthcare items. In the current study, the catalytic properties of AgNps in a reaction mixture with amylase enzyme were investigated. Amylase is a vital enzyme for industry since it helps to convert starch into glucose. In this study AgNps were created utilizing a green method that involved converting silver nitrate to AgNps using extracts from the leaves of Piper betle and Jatropha curcas. newline |
