Abstract: | Textiles have a protracted and distinguished history within the Indian sub-continent. The textile trade includes a substantial standing the country. Textile industry provides one of the foremost basic necessities of the folks. It is an autonomous trade from the basic prerequisite of material to the ultimate product, with massive value-addition of every stage of processing. India is one in every of the prime most hub of the globe for Textile because of its culture, Traditional, natural and historical heritage. People all around the world like Traditional Indian Fabric as it has very rich and royal in its look. Indian Textile industry growth is enormous in the domestic and international market. In India there are many traditionally woven fabrics made among them Maharashtra is one of the state where many traditionally woven fabrics are offered to the market. The woven fabrics are made in Aurangabad, Yewla and Solapur. Traditionally woven Solapur fabrics are woven on Jacquard loom and are made with intricate designs so thus customers relish the wonder of it. Traditionally woven Solapur fabrics additionally known as a Solapur Chaddar or sheet is a cotton bedsheet manufactured in Solapur city of Maharashtra. These chaddars are popular in India and abroad and known for their bold designs, sturdiness and durability. newlineHandlooms and handicrafts are profoundly implanted in Indian custom and ceremonials. It is very much part of our day to day life. It is found in everyone s living room in the form of artefacts, so it plays an enormous role in Indian economy for revenue generation. The contribution of this sector is increasing year by year in domestic and international markets. Hence it is proved that not only cultural but it has economical contribution in country s growth. Unity in diversity goes hand in hand for Indian soil as it s full of art forms like folk and tribal art, craft which is present in almost all the states of India. |
